GENESIS art LOUNGE is pleased to announce The Intuitive Eye, an exhibition of collage and mixed media art by Karen St. Pierre, an American artist from Woodstock, New York. Please join us for the opening reception on Saturday, April 12 from 4-6pm.
In The Intuitive Eye, Karen St. PIerre engages the worlds of myth, magic and dream in a retrospective of colorful mixed media collages that are at once reflective and whimsical, mysterious and fun. Drawing on her background in mythology, theatre, dreams and spirituality, her collages capture archetypal images from sources as varied as medieval esoterica, modern scientific illustrations, ancient spiritual icons and contemporary graphics.
Karen will present an artist talk on archetypal imagery in The Intuitive Eye series during the April 12 opening reception at 5pm. Her collage and mixed media workshops will be offered on April 11, 16, 19 and 26.
GENESIS art LOUNGE is located at the Mutsugi Bldg., 2nd Fl. Kyodo 1-23-15, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. The Gallery is open by appointment seven days a week.
