Current Realities explores memory as something unstable, partial, and continually reassembled. The installation is informed by my experience of caring for those in the later stages of dementia, where meaning is not necessarily lost but differently structured. Memories can become fragmented and fluid, dreamlike and illusory, often held in moments rather than continuous narratives. Current Realities offers a space to reflect on fragmentation, perception, and the quiet labour of holding meaning together with another for whom memory ebbs and flows.
